Superstar forward Carmelo Anthony has not decided which team he will play for yet. The man who played in the lights of Broadway last season is exploring his options. There are multiple teams who have shown interest in the all-star caliber talent.
Teams such as the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets have made sales pitches that Anthony is impressed with. Despite the Lakers and Rockets making awesome presentations, playing with King James in Miami is a possibility.
ESPN, a source close to Anthony has stated that he will not drag out his decision on where he wants to play. However, he is waiting to see what will transpire between Chris Bosh, LeBron James, and the Miami Heat.
"He will not let this decision drag out much longer. That kind of drama gets on his nerves. But how can he just make a decision without seeing what Miami will do in the event that Bosh heads to Houston? Without [seeing] what kind of pitch Pat Riley and LeBron will make to get him to come to South Beach? He can't just ignore the possibility of playing with LeBron. Anyone should know that."
Another source says Anthony’s ultimate dream scenario would be to play with James in New York City. That is a long shot from happening because the Knicks would have to clear a lot of salary-cap space, reports the New York Post.
