According to Yahoo Sports’ Adrian Wojnarowski, Carmelo Anthony is very impressed with the plan the New York Knicks laid out during their Thursday evening meeting in Los Angeles.
Anthony had direct questions for both president and general manager Phil Jackson and newly-minted head coach Derek Fisher, according to CBSSports.com. Questions mostly concerning the vision Jackson has in restoring the roster back to championship contention. Wojnarowski reports that Anthony is "largely aligned" with this vision.
Also reported is the Knicks offering Anthony the max of five-years at $129 million. Coupled with the fact New York was the place Anthony always wanted to be, it might be a tough decision to turn down that pay-day.

The Bulls and Rockets have the rosters to appeal to Anthony, but the money is a tricky for them at the moment.
Having trust in Jackson might be the way Anthony is leaning. The Knicks will not compete for a championship next season, but with Amare Stoudemire’s $23 million coming off the books in 2015, the Knicks will be ready for a title run then as a stacked free-agent class looms (Kevin Love and Rajon Rondo to name a couple), according to Spotrac.com.
Anthony will enjoy the rest of his holiday weekend before he makes a decision on where he’ll play next season.
