Musicians Ringo Starr and Sevyn Streeter are celebrating their birthdays today.

Musician, singer, songwriter and actor Ringo Starr turns 74 today. Starr gained worldwide fame as the drummer for the Beatles; he sang lead vocals for "With a Little Help from My Friends," "Yellow Submarine" and their cover of "Act Naturally". He also wrote the Beatles' songs "Don't Pass Me By" and "Octopus's Garden."
Starr was a member of another Liverpool group, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes, but quit and joined the Beatles in August 1962, replacing Pete Best. After their break-up in 1970, he released several successful singles including the US number four hit "It Don't Come Easy," and number ones "Photograph" and "You're Sixteen." In 1972, he released "Back Off Boogaloo," which peaked at No. 2. He achieved commercial and critical success with his 1973 album Ringo, which was a top ten release in both the UK and the US. He has been featured in a number of documentaries, hosted television shows, narrated the first two seasons of the children's television series Thomas & Friends, and portrayed "Mr Conductor" during the first season of the children's series, Shining Time Station. Since 1989. Since 1989, he has successfully toured with twelve variations of Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band.
Starr had three children, Zak, Jason and Lee, with his former wife Maureen Cox. He is currently in a relationship with actress Barbara Bach.
Sevyn Streeter, 28

Recording artist and singer–songwriter Sevyn Streeter turns 28 today. Born Amber Denise Streeter, she is best known for being a member of the girl groups TG4 and RichGirl where she was known as Se7en. She has written songs for artists such as Chris Brown, Brandy, Kelly Rowland, Alicia Keys, Fantasia, Trey Songz, Ariana Grande and Tamar Braxton.
On October 30, 2012, Streeter released her debut single "I Like It", and premiered the music video for the song on BET's 106 & Park on January 4, 2013, and on May 22, 2013, she released her second single "It Won't Stop." The remix to "It Won't Stop" features Chris Brown who also directed the music video.
Streeter released her debut EP entitled Call Me Crazy, But..., on December 3, 2013. The EP debuted on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart at No. 5.
