Charlize Theron is fueling rumors that she got engaged to Sean Penn, wearing a diamond ring on her engagement ring finger.
The ring has appeared on her finger directly following reports that the couple, who were first linked romantically over the holidays, planned on getting married and adopting a child together.
"They want to get married very soon," a source told Us Weekly, adding Theron "always intended to have another child.” She’s already mom to 2-year-old Jackson, and Penn has Dylan, 23, and Hopper, 20, with his ex-wife Robin Wright.
According to Daily News, Theron, 38, stepped out with the diamond ring on her finger while at LA on Wednesday although she tried to hide it by holding a blanket in her hand to cover it.
If the rumors are true, this will be the third time down the aisle for Penn, who was married to Madonna before tying the knot to Wright. Theron has never been married.
The couple recently worked together in Theron’s native, South Africa, on the film The Last Face, which he directed and she stars in.
