Chris Bosh has a serious contract offer from the Houston Rockets that would allow him to make $88 million in four years. After discussing his future with LeBron James over the weekend, Bosh is not entirely sure what James is planning to do. That leaves other teams such as the Rockets a serious opportunity to entice Bosh with a maximum contract.
Another factor that has Bosh looking elsewhere besides south beach is the fact the Heat are trying to get Bosh to take less money. Bosh said he would take less money, however the Heat want him to take an even bigger pay cut, reports ESPN.
With Bosh’s future up in the air as well as the big three era in Miami, the Heat would have to transform overnight if they want to compete for another ring and a taste of Champaign next June. He has won two championships and has made four all-star teams since becoming a member of the Miami Heat. In Bosh’s career, he has averaged 16.2 points and 6.6 rebounds, according to NBA.com.
