San Diego Comic-Con is back again and there is so much going on it’s hard for con goers to catch everything. There are a ton of SDCC veterans that go every year but there are some new comers to the crowd this time around. One of those new comers, in case you missed it, is Christopher Nolan. The Dark Knight director surprised over 6,000 Comic-Con goers along with Matthew McConaughey.

Nolan and McConaughy came to SDCC to promote their new film together, Interstellar. At the biggest Hall in SDCC, Hall-H, Matt Bean (Entertainment Weekly editor) introduced McConaughy who then brought out Nolan to talk Interstellar according to Entertainment Weekly. Nolan brought with him another trailer which showed some new plot details. Due to always being too busy to make it to Comic-Con, this was Nolan’s first appearance.
Interstellar has a lot of history behind it and it took a while for it to get this far. Steven Spielberg originally had the project along with Nolan’s brother Jonathan Nolan. When Spielberg left, Christopher Nolan took over in January as we reported previously. McConaughey is the lead in the science-fiction film and is joined by Anne Hathaway.
Interstellar hits theaters on November 7th this year.
