It has been reported that head coach of the Los Angeles Clippers Doc Rivers will walk away from the team if Donald Sterling is the owner at the beginning of next season.

Interim CEO of the Los Angeles Clippers Dick Parsons testified and said he spoke to Rivers about Sterling. Rivers told Parsons if Sterling was still around that he could not continue as the teams president and head coach anymore, reported by CBS Sports.
While Sterling is fighting his battle in the court of law, the Clippers franchise is going to suffer even more because sponsors are not sure if Sterling is going to still be apart of the organization at the start of next season.
NBA commissioner Adam Silver has had to deal with a lot of issues ever since he announced Sterling’s lifetime ban from the NBA. Sterling filed another lawsuit against Silver and his own wife Shelly Sterling, according to ESPN.
During the 2014 playoffs, players on the Clippers team were going to boycott a playoff game if Sterling was not given the toughest penalty possible. Rivers plans on leaving the organization completely if a Sterling return happens.
