Courtney Love is set to make her television drama debut with a several-episode guest role on FX's biker series Sons of Anarchy.
Love will play a pre-school teacher named Ms. Harrison, who teaches Abel, the son of main character Jax, who is played by Charlie Hunnam, TVLine exclusively is reporting.
Harrison reportedly pays special attention to Jax's eldest son and Love's role is described as important over an arc in the show's final season. Her interest will draw a response from Abel's mother Wendy, played by Drea de Matteo, who was upgraded to regular for the season.
Love's character will appear in the show's fourth episode. She is the second musician joining the series for the upcoming season. Marilyn Manson was cast back in late May to play white supremacist Ron Tully. Jax works with Tully as he looks to continue to solidify his power.
Manson was excited to be cast in the show saying that both he and his father are fans. "So I was determined to make him proud by being involved in what will likely be remembered as the most amazing piece of television cinema."
Sons of Anarchy is set to return for its final season in the fall.
