Dave Legeno, a British actor who played a villain in the last three Harry Potter movies, has died at age 50. He died while hiking in Death Valley, according to authorities.

It isn’t entirely clear when Legeno died. He was found on Sunday by two hikers, reports TMZ. California Highway Patrol needed a helicopter to reach the remote location.

The Inyo County, California Sheriff's Department told TMZ that he may have been dead for as long as four days before he was discovered. No foul play is suspected and they believe he died of heart-related issues.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the sheriff’s department described the location he was found in as “a remote wash below Manly Beacon, west of Zabriskie Point in Death Valley.” Temperatures in that area can reach 120 degrees.

In addition to acting, Legeno was a popular MMA fighter in the U.K. He still called the U.K. home and lived with his daughter, who is in her 20s.

He played werewolf Fenrir Greyback in Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince and reprised the role for both parts of The Deathly Hallows. He also had roles in Snatch., Batman Begins, Centurion and Snow White and the Huntsman.
