Diane Keaton opened up to her And So It Goes co-star, Michael Douglas, in an interview he conducted and he got more information out of her than your average interviewer would.
In both of their long-withstanding careers, Keaton and Michaels haven’t known or worked together until now. They even kissed in the film, which Douglas asked her about during the chat.
“I did enjoy the awkward kiss. I did. It was fun,” she told him, USA Today reports. Douglas mocked her in response, "Don't act so surprised. God almighty. 'I can't believe I actually enjoyed it.’”
Keaton showcased how much she adores Douglas, who is now back together with his wife Catherine Zeta-Jones after a brief separation, by bringing a photo of him from 1969 to gush about.
"Look at that face. Isn't that the best? This face is so sweet and so open, and to me that's the essence of Michael? Look at that face and those eyes," she said. The feeling is definitely mutual, as Douglas admitted, “I feel like I've known her forever. She's a treat and a half."
And So It Goes hits theaters Friday, which is directed by Rob Reiner. It’s a romantic comedy that stars Douglas as a ruthless real estate agent who falls in love with Keaton, his neighbor.
