Jesse Ventura won $1.8 million in an anti-defamation lawsuit. The lawsuit was against a former Navy SEAL, Chris Kyle, who wrote American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History. Ventura, the former governor of Minnesota, said that he was wanted to receive an apology for Kyle’s statements about his negative run-in.The jury deliberated for six days, before deciding on amounts of the award.

Mira Sorvino is hoping for a sequel to Romy & Michele’s High School Reunion. The actress is attempting to get fans to say that they want a second film. Sorvino said that she’s prepared to start a Kickstarter campaign to prove to Disney that fans would like to see another film.
Pam Brady is set to rewrite the film, Business Trip. The idea for Business Trip came from two employees from Benderspink, the company that made The Hangover. Business Trip is about three women who get involved with some wild adventures while on a business trip. Brady received a contract several months ago. Brady has previously been involved with the films, Hot Rod, Team America: World Police, and South Park Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
Zac Efron reveals the reasoning behind checking into rehab for a substance abuse problem. Efron said that rehab was challenging, and one of the issues he dealt with was never-ending press attention, whether he was promoting a film or going to the grocery store. Efron became famous after the High School Musical films. He has also appeared in Neighbors and The Paperboy.
Recording artist Ariana Grande opened up about not being on good terms with her father. Grande lost her grandfather to cancer last week. Her brother, Frankie Grande, can be seen on television as a competitor on the TV show, Big Brother. Grande will be performing at the Video Music Awards on August 24. Her new album, My Everything, will be released the next day.
