According to Cinema Blend, it was an emotional roller-coaster day on social media for Fast and Furious fans. Vin Diesel shared a photo for a Race Wars scene in the seventh film, and it will be a callback to an important scene depicted in the original film The Fast and the Furious. Additionally, Diesel posted Universal Pictures' love letter to fans the day they ended production of the film.
The letter mentions "it’s because of you that we got here." It was hard for Diesel to complete production after Walker's death.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody Walker stepped in earlier this year to complete the remaining action for him by filling the small gaps left in the production according to the studio's Facebook note in April.
The film is set to release worldwide on April 3, 2015, a week before its initial release date on April 10, 2015.
