More details have emerged after the arrest of former Destiny’s Child member Farrah Franklin early Sunday morning.
As previously reported, the former member of the R&B girl group was arrested Sunday in South Carolina. The 33-year-old was booked at an Horry County jail on disorderly conduct charges in the early hours of Sunday morning. It has been reported that alcohol was involved.
Now TMZ reports that Franklin was found sleeping in a stranger’s front yard and told police that she had planned to sleep in the woods. According to TMZ, police said that the incident occurred after Franklin had a night on the town with NFL players Da’Quan Bowers and Ricky Sapp. Both men suspected that Franklin had been using drugs in addition to being highly intoxicated. According to Bowers, Franklin repeatedly went to the bathroom for long periods of time.
At some point during the night, Franklin’s behavior became even more erratic and Bowers and Sapp called police after she began screaming and slamming doors. After the police were called Franklin ran away and was later found lying in a neighbor’s front yard.
Franklin was released on bond Sunday afternoon.
