Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow went to a public film screening in New York together on Monday despite their separation.
According to The Daily Mail, the former couple went together to see a screening of Hector and the Search for Happiness. Gwen also played hostess for her mom, Blythe Danner, and an onlooker told People that she sat in the middle to separate Martin and Paltrow so they won’t have a picture side by side together.
The star of the film, Simon Pegg, talked to People about the film and shared that he is the Godfather of Apple, Martin and Paltrow’s daughter.
The former love birds “seemed so comfortable with each other” and “like they were still married." The observer also reported that the soon-to-be-divorced couple spent time after the film chatting it up with friends and Paltrow’s mother.
Paltrow is set to star alongside Johnny Depp in the action movie, Mortdecai later this year and Chris Martin, as a part of Coldplay, released his album Ghost Stories, which was certified Gold earlier this month.
