During the 2011-12 NBA season Jeremy Lin got a lot of notoriety with the Knicks. Formally a student at Harvard, Lin took New York by storm when he broke out as one of the better point guards in the league. Slowly but surely ‘Linsanity’ swept throughout the nation.
The last two seasons he has been playing for the Houston Rockets alongside James Harden and most recently Dwight Howard. With that said, he could very well be seen in another jersey next season, especially if the Rockets land Carmelo Anthony.
In a pitch to land Anthony the Rockets have posted banners and pictures throughout their stadium of Anthony wearing a no. 7 Houston Rockets jersey. Lin is currently no. 7. Needless to say he was not too happy about it.

With the Rockets in pursuit of another superstar Jeremy Lin is more than likely to be traded to open cap space for any potential free agents via HouseofHouston.
With just one season left on his contract Lin is set to make $8.37 million next season with the Rockets. The Philadelphia 76ers have been targeted as a possible trade partner since they have a tremendous amount of cap space with a projected space of roughly $33 million via Hoop76.
Hearing that Rockets & Sixers are in fluid trade talks surrounding Jeremy Lin. HOU waiting to unload Lin's deal if it signs Melo or Lebron.
