Jimmy Kimmel has been missing these past two weeks as he has been on a two-week hiatus since the birth of his third child but returned last night and dedicated his opening monologue to his new pride and joy.
The popular talk shot host and his wife Molly McNearney welcomed their first daughter together on July 10 which resulted in Kimmel taking a break for two weeks to getting situated to being a parent with a newborn again (Kimmel’s other children are Katie, 22 and Kevin, 20). He began his show last night by unveiling photos of his daughter and announcing that, "I've been taking somewhere in the neighborhood of 10,000 pictures of her a day and she's finally had enough of it. She thinks I'm with TMZ now.”
He also announced the name of the new born who has named after his grandmother and joked the baby’s name is Grandma Kimmel reports the LA Times. But in all honesty, the baby’s name is Jane Kimmel. In the montage of photos he makes small cracks that in one photo his daughter is wearing clown makeup and in another she is as “drunk as a skunk.”
All in all the proud father is happy to be back on his show and made sure to remind his audience that babies cannot have pizza at such a young age. It’s a shame but they have time.
