Elisabeth Hasselbeck made some disparaging comments on the possibility of Rosie O’Donnell returning to ABC’s The View while calling into her show Fox & Friends this week during her vacation, confirming their bad blood still very much exists.
While O’Donnell has responded herself on Twitter, calling the comments “shocking,” their former co-host Joy Behar is now calling them “hate-filled.”
Behar, who retired from the show in 2013 after 16 years, told CNN's Don Lemon "I thought that was really kind of below-the-belt, to say she spits in the face of the military. I would like Elisabeth to explain herself.”
"What does she mean by that?” she continued. “And isn't it kind of a nasty thing to say about somebody who basically is a good person? That's a dangerous thing to say about somebody. I think it's a hate-filled remark."
While O’Donnell responded to Twitter fans, she asked “think she has donated any money to the armed services ???? Hmmmmm.”
