Comedian Katt Williams allegedly was accused of threating a heckler with a gun at a Comedy Store in West Hollywood. Witnesses say the heckler had negative words towards Williams, and the comments had to do with his height and race.
TMZ reported that Williams had already left the scene before six cop cars showed up.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the situation, and no warrants have been issued for Katt Williams arrest yet. The Los Angeles Times says that this is not the comedians first time dealing with law enforcement. He is no stranger when it comes to getting himself into rough situations.
Back in 2012, Williams had been arrested for allegedly having possession of a stolen firearm and was also arrested on suspicion of child endangerment. In 2013, the case was dropped and no chargers were filed.
Despite his alleged erratic behavior, the comedian has stayed relatively busy. In 2014, he has been on the road promoting his “Growth Spurt” tour. Back in May, he filmed an HBO special with famous director Spike Lee. It is the second HBO special Katt Williams will be affiliated with.
