A London woman, Claire Leeson, has spent over $30,000 to look like her idol, Keeping Up with the Kardashians star Kim Kardashian, and although she’s in debt, she wouldn’t take it back.
Leeson, 24, told This Morning that her motivation behind getting plastic surgery to look like Kardashian was due to bullying she went through in school.
"I was told every day that I was the ‘ugliest thing alive' and I should ‘kill myself. When I left school friends would tell me that I had a resemblance to Kim," she said. "So, I watched [Keeping Up With the Kardashians] and realized I had the same amount of siblings and that we have the same kind of arguments and things going on. I thought she was so beautiful and I really wanted to be like her."
She hasn’t had any other plastic surgery other than breast implants, but Leeson admitted to getting regular spray tans, wearing a butt pad and teeth whitening procedures to resemble Kardashian a bit more in addition to dressing like her and doing her makeup the same way.
E! Online reports Neeson has been retweeting positive messages from supporters telling her she should celebrate her own unique looks.
However, Neeson insists looking like Kardashian makes her feel more confident. "When I get my Kimmy on I feel like I'm unstoppable and untouchable,” she said.
