Superstar and future Hall of Famer Kobe Bryant has returned from his time off in Europe to sway Carmelo Anthony to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. Bryant flew home late Wednesday night to attend the Anthony meeting scheduled for Thursday. The Lakers hope the greatness of Kobe Bryant will have an impact on Anthony’s decision on becoming a future player in Los Angeles.

The five-time champion has a friendly history with the highly sought after superstar forward. The city of angels has made signing a big named talent the priority of the summer to obtain either Anthony or LeBron James, reports ESPN.

Anthony has played for the New York Knicks since being traded from the Denver Nuggets back in 2011. He has averaged 26.49 points per game since becoming a Knick. During his 2013-2014 campaign, he averaged 27.4 points per game and grabbed 8.10 rebounds, according to NBA.com. Despite having incredible stats with the Knicks, Anthony is looking at other options for his basketball playing future.
