Lana Del Rey is at it again with another interview that is getting some extra attention. The Ultraviolence singer revealed that she has slept with people within the music industry, but it didn’t get her any kind of special advantage.

In a new interview with Complex, Del Rey was asked about “F***ed My Way Up To The Top.” Is the song supposed to be taken literally or is a commentary on critics who aren’t taking her seriously?

“It’s commentary, like, ‘I know what you think of me,’ and I’m alluding to that,” Del Rey replied. “You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying.”

Later, she is asked what the most valuable thing in her life is that she has destroyed. She said it was probably the three-year relationship she’s been in.

“Definitely demolished that through tons of depression and insecurity,” Del Rey said. “Now it’s just an untenable relationship, impossible because of my emotional instability.”

Later, when the magazine brought up that many writers come up with they’re best music when they are f***ed up, Del Rey admitted, “And I am a little f***ed up. This whole experience has f***ed me up.”

This is just the latest in a series of attention-grabbing interviews. Last month, she infamously told a Guardian writer that, “I wish I was dead already.” Of course, she tried to later distance herself from those words.
