Lea Michele honors the death of her boyfriend and Glee costar Cory Monteith on Sunday, July 13, the anniversary of his death, with a heart wrenching tweet.

One year after the tragedy that was reportedly tied to substance abuse, Michele seems to have processed, and somewhat healed, from the misfortune. “Now I feel a bit more back together and I have this blank canvas in front of me, which is what my life can be,” she told Glamour Magazine UK.

And as Michele moves on, while cherishing her memories with Cory, she focuses on promoting her new album, Louder, that will be released on March 17, according to the New York Daily News. One of the songs, “If You Say So”, pays tribute to the last words he shared with her.

Several of Monteith’s other fellow cast and crew members shared tweets remembering the beloved actor, using the hashtag 1YearWithoutCory. Costar Kevin McHale tweeted, “It’s been 1 whole year & it’s still so surreal, but today is just a reminder of how damn great you were and how much you mean to us all.”
