Do not change that channel yet folks. LeBron James resigning with the Miami Heat is not as automatic as we first might have thought.
Late last night it was reported by Chris Broussard of ESPN.com that LeBron James’ agent Rich Paul has been speaking with multiple teams about the possibility of James’ future, according to ESPN.com. The Cleveland Cavaliers, Phoenix Suns, Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets are the three that have had opportunities to speak with Paul regarding “The King.”
It may not be as dramatic as “The Decision” in 2010, but James is still apparently shopping his services.
Sources: Suns owner Robert Sarver was n Cleveland yesterday & met with LeBron's agent, Rich Paul. Teaming LJ/Melo or LJ/Bosh n Phx discussed

The latest team to contact Paul was the Phoenix Suns. Suns owner Robert Sarver and Paul met and discussed the possibility of a James – Carmelo Anthony or James - Chris Bosh tag-team, according to CBSSports.com. While the Suns’ roster leaves much to be desired, their financial situation is one of the best in the league at the current moment. Bringing in two-max deals is a real possibility as they currently rank second in the league with just over $35 million in space.
The Suns have one of the better point-guards in the game with Goran Dragic and can still bring back restricted free-agent Eric Bledsoe, who James apparently takes a liking to. It is also common knowledge around NBA circles that the Suns have a top-notch training staff, which appeals to James for obvious reasons.
The reality of this situation though is it’s still a long-shot that James leaves the Heat, or the Eastern Conference for that matter. Why would James choose to battle out the back-end of his career in a much tougher and deeper Western Conference when he could stay in the ultra-soft east and return to the finals every year?
Do not change the channel just yet, but put big-money on James returning to Miami on a one-year deal or possibility of opting-out after next season.
