Los Angeles took advantage, as they needed a big man to come off of the bench to relieve minutes for all-star forward Blake Griffin. When Davis became available, the Clippers pounced on the opportunity.
According to ESPN, Davis coming to the Clippers gave him a chance to reunite with his former coach Doc Rivers. Rivers coached Davis in Boston from 2007 until 2011.
He has been struggling ever since he left Boston in 2011, however Big Baby Davis is 28 years young. He has a full season to prove himself and return to form of three years ago, proven by NBC Sports.
