Authorities said that a man was arrested after he broke into the Massachusetts Kennedy compound in search of pop singer Katy Perry.

According to WCVB, police were called to the Hyannisport home of Ted Kennedy Jr. on Tuesday night after Kennedy said he called the house and a stranger picked up the phone.

Arriving officers found a strange car parked out front and inside found 53-year-old disabled veteran James Lacroix. Kennedy’s teenage son was in the home with Lacroix, but was not injured.

The intruder did not have any weapons on him.

Police took the Captain America T-shirt wearing trespasser to jail and questioned him about the incident and that’s when the story got even more bizarre.

CNN noted that law enforcement officials said Lacroix was asked why he was at the home and he told them that he was “Looking for Katy Perry.”

He was charged with breaking and entering and is expected to be arraigned Wednesday in Barnstable District Court.
