Dallas Mavericks point guard Raymond Felton has agreed to a divorce deal with his estranged wife.
The New York Daily News reported that the basketball player and his wife, Ariane Raymondo-Felton, negotiated through their attorneys and eventually agreed to terms on the divorce deal.
Lawyers for each party confirmed that a deal has been reached but would not give any further details.
Raymondo-Felton filed for divorce from the NBA veteran in February after a brief marriage. Later, it was reported that she went to the cops with his unregistered firearm.
Felton turned himself in and was arrested on gun charges. He struck a plea deal last month to avoid jail time.
Last week, New York Knicks’ president Phil Jackson sent the 6 foot 1 guard to Dallas for Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington, José Calderón, Samuel Dalembert, and the 34th and 51st picks in the draft.
In his career, Felton had two stints with the Knicks and also played for the Charlotte Bobcats, the Denver Nuggets, and the Portland Trail Blazers.
