Producers of The View are reportedly considering adding Senator John McCain's daughter as a co-host of the show.
A source spoke exclusively with E! News and claims that Meghan McCain is reportedly in the running for a spot on the show.
"Any specific names at this point are rumor and speculation," an ABC representative has said previously, refusing to comment on speculation about possible hosts to replace Jenny McCarthy and Sherri Shepherd. "There are no decisions and we are not ready to make any announcements."
The 29-year-old Columbia University graduate is currently the host of Pivot's Take Part Live. McCain has appeared on The View in the past.
Should she take a co-host spot on the show, she'll likely be joined by Whoopi Goldberg Rosie O'Donnell, who all but appears guaranteed to return to the talk show. She was reportedly in serious talks with ABC earlier in the week.
Former conservative co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck spoke out on Fox and Friends on Wednesday about O'Donnell's rumored return, explaining that it has to be a conspiracy theory. "I do believe this has been in the works for a long, long time."
