Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino of Jersey Shore fame has been sentenced to 12 weeks of anger management classes following a blowout fight with his family at their New Jersey tanning salon the Boca Tanning Club.

Sorrentino, who has a new reality show called The Sorrentinos, appeared in court in Middletown, NJ with his brother on Monday morning.

He told TMZ he would probably benefit from taking the classes. If he finishes the program with no issues, he will likely just pay a fine for the assault arrest.

The reality star was arrested in June after getting into a brawl with his brother Frank. He walked away from the fight with a black eye, but he explained earlier this month that his mom was the one to give him the shiner.

He explained it was a “business miscommunication” that started the fight. "That was Peaches, my mom got the licks in. Frank did not touch me at all,” he said, with his mom adding, "I was trying to break them apart.”
