At Comic Con on Thursday it was announced that the popular series Teen Wolf would be returning for a fifth season.

The fifth season will air similarly to ones in the past with the season split into two parts that will be 10 episodes each, Deadline reports.

The news was announced by creator Jeff Davis at San Diego Comic Con before a bunch of screaming fans. According to The Hollywood Reporter, newcomer Dylan Sprayberry has been upped to a regular for the fifth season.

The series has done well for MTV, with the second half of the fourth season returning strong, with 2.2 million viewers tuning in back in June. Teen Wolf has been averaging about 1.7 million viewers per episode.

The supernatural drama stars Tyler Posey, Dylan O'Brien, Holland Roden and Tyler Hoechlin. Davis, along with Marty Adelstein, Russell Mulcahy, Rene Echevarria, Ian Stokes, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley are on board as executive producers.
