The Fourth of July tradition on Coney Island will continue to be broadcast on ESPN at least until 2024.

According to USA Today, the organization Major League Eating announced the extension with the sports network earlier this week.

The new contract includes a one-hour show live on ESPN News and an encore presentation to be televised on ESPN2. The contest will also have a live stream on WatchESPN.

Last year, competitive eating champion Joey Chestnut broke his own world record when he chowed down 69 dogs in just 10 minutes.

Chestnut, 30, has won the contest seven-straight times. However, SB Nation noted that some hold an asterisk next to his name since former champ and fellow competitive-eating extraordinaire Takeru Kobayashi has not competed in the event since 2009.

Kobayashi reportedly would not sign an exclusive contract with Nathan’s and has not competed since. He has been barred from the event and was arrested after he stormed the stage in 2010.

Chestnut biggest competition this year comes from 22-year-old Matt Stonie, who is currently ranked as the No. 2 competitive eater in the world.
