If Instagram held a contest for the coolest picture ever posted on the picture sharing site, Tom White of Omaha, Nebraska would be the winner. The 16-year-old has become an Internet star overnight thanks to a picture with his “homies,” Paul McCartney and Warren Buffett.
The 16-year-old told The Telegraph that he somehow found out that the former Beatle and the billionaire were having ice cream together. One of his friends saw an Instagram picture of McCartney enjoying his ice cream.
White and his friends - Jacob Murray, Drew Tvrdy and Luke Koester - then rushed to the ice cream parlor to get a picture or at least meet them.
“Drew grabbed his guitar and Luke a vinyl album and we went as fast as we could to the bench where they were sitting,” White said. “Paul couldn’t sign the guitar or the vinyl, but he was very nice.”
Thankfully for White, Paul didn’t have any problem with him taking the selfie. “They were very nice,” White added. He said they were only able to chat with McCartney for five minutes before a car came to pick up McCartney and Buffett.
The result is one of the greatest pictures Instagram has ever seen. White added the hilarious caption, “Chillin with my homies.”

McCartney, who recently returned to the road after an illness, was in Nebraska for a show. He performs at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln tonight. On Wednesday, he will be in Kansas City, Missouri.
