Neil Patrick Harris has made it known that he would really like to be on the next season of American Horror Story due to its circus focus, and co-creator Ryan Murphy appeared receptive to the idea.
The How I Met Your Mother alum sat down with Entertainment Weekly's EW Radio and spoke about his interest in American Horror Story: Freak Show because of his obsession with freak shows and the like.
Harris admitted that he wrote a letter to Murphy letting it be known that he would really love on the show. "I wrote a letter to Ryan, asking if I could be in it. Even though I wasn't even available to be in it," he told Mario Correa.
Vulture reports that NPH is currently busy with Hedwig and the Angry Inch, which has shows on Broadway until the middle of August.
Though Harris said Murphy never responded to his letter, the co-creator of the hit FX show took to Twitter on Friday to let it be known that he would definitely have a role for him.
He wrote, "of course you can be on Freak Show! I have a role I think you'd love."
