Once Upon a Time keeps getting cooler and cooler as more characters from Disney’s Oscar winning film Frozen are being cast for the shows upcoming fourth season.
We already have our Elsa, Anna and Kristoff and now we can add Prince Hans and Pabbie to the family (Olaf will not be appearing in the show). John Rhys-Davies, known for his roles in Lord of the Rings and Indiana Jones will be playing the voice of Pabbie, a CGI version of the Troll King, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Currently Pabbie will be in one episode of the fourth season but could end up in more.
On the top of the overly hated Prince Hans: he will be portrayed by Tyler Jacob Moore who you may know from Shameless. Hans will first debut in the third episode this season and be a recurring character reports E! Online. The characters will be picking up from where the film left off and it is noted that Hans has, “a serious chip on his shoulder and a burning desire to be king.”
How the Frozen universe will come into play with the current characters is still unknown but executive producer Adam Horowitz says the show is “honored” to have the chance. “We fell in love with [the movie] when it came out last year like everyone did, and we want to do our best to do it justice.”
Once Upon a Time returns Sunday, September 28th on ABC.
