In a recorded Comic Con video, comedian Patton Oswalt talked about lanyards and revealed that Agent Barbara Morse, aka Mockingbird, would be joining the upcoming second season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..
Oswalt appears as "Agent Koenig" and in-between discussing security lanyards and trained killers, he spoke with another Agent Koenig, also portrayed by Oswalt, about an agent calling in, which the former then asks if she asked about him. The answer is, of course, no.
He reveals that Agent Morse, who is also known as Mockingbird, has called in to speak with Director Coulson and is looking to join up, Entertaiment Weekly reports.
In addition, at the panel, Marvel also finally revealed that the recently cast Lucy Lawless will portray Isabelle Hartley.
Others joining the second season include Lance Hunter, played by Nick Blood, and Daniel Whitehall/Kraken, portrayed by Reed Diamond. Colbie Smulders is also set to reprise her role as Agent Maria Hill at some point during the season.
On Friday, it was announced that the directors of the Captain America movies would be involved in the new Marvel TV series Agent Carter. Joe and Anthony Russo, who directed Winter Soldier, will helm episodes two and three.
There is also a possibility that Joe Johnson could be directing the fourth episode, but that depends on scheduling.
