Celebrity stalking isn’t unheard of, but it is nonetheless terrifying. A homeless man was arrested for stalking and harassing Rihanna, even delivering letters to her apartment in New York.

The 53-year-old, identified as Kevin Mcglynn, was caught on video delivering handwritten letters to one of Rihanna’s employees. In his letters, he appeared angry at the star and threatened her, reported the NY Daily News.

Mcglynn went to the singer’s apartment on three occasions on July 8. Once at 6:30 a.m. and another at midnight. The third time, on July 11, he was arrested in the evening after appearing outside her apartment earlier in the day.

“The nature of these letters (is) confusing. They all do indicate a personal relationship, as I indicated before, that simply does not exist,” said James Vinocur, Assistant District Attorney.

According to TMZ, Mcglynn also sent at least four letters to Rihanna in California. At his arraignment, Mcglynn accused Jay Z, Rihanna and Jay of ripping off his “material.”

Mcglynn has a history with the law. He had been arrested at least a dozen times, including trespassing four times.

Mcglynn is being held without bail.
