People in Minnesota have been wondering why comedian Robin Williams was in Lindstrom the past couple of days, well now the reason has been revealed, he has checked back into rehab to maintain his sobriety.
The curiosity mounted after he was spotted visiting the local Dairy Queen on Sunday, according to WCCO. Abby Albers, who was at the counter at the time admitted she didn't initially believe that Williams had just walked into the restaurant.
"I didn't think it was actually him (at first), because I didn't understand why he would be in Lindstrom at the Dairy Queen." The 15-year-old said he was a lot more mellow than she expected, but was willing to pose for a picture.
Well, TMZ is exclusively reporting he wasn't in Lindstrom to simply enjoy some ice cream, but was headed to the Hazelden Addiction Treatment Center.
"After working back-to-back projects, Robin is simply taking the opportunity to fine-tune and focus on his continued commitment, of which he remains extremely proud," William's rep told the site.
During the next few weeks Williams will be staying in The Lodge, which is a part of the facility for those looking to continue their sobriety.
