It’s been reported that Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling are expecting their first child together. Although the private actors have yet to officially confirm the news themselves, reports are now stating that The Notebook star has been doting on his pregnant girlfriend.
Sources close to the couple, who have been dating on and off since 2011, say that Gosling cooks, cleans and does the grocery shopping for Mendes.
"Ryan goes out and gets the groceries. Eva's] been wanting pasta, and he's cooking her meals,” a source told Us Weekly. “Ryan has already stepped into the role of caring father-to-be."
Gosling has previously spoken out about wanting to be a father, and specifically wanting to be a hands-on father since he never had someone like that in his life.
In 2011, the same year he started dating Mendes, he told UK’s The Times, "I'd like to be making babies but I'm not, so I'm making movies. When someone comes along, I don't think I'll be able to do both and I'm fine with that. I'll make movies until I make babies."
As we previously reported, it’s been rumored that Mendes is seven months along in her pregnancy.
