Actor Taye Diggs, known for his television and movie roles, will be joining Golden Globe winning show The Good Wife as a guest star during the shows upcoming sixth season.
Diggs, who stars in the series Murder in the First, will be on The Good Wife for multiple episodes. He will be playing equity partner Dean Levine-Wilkins, who decides to jump ship from Lockhart/Gardner to Florrick/Agos, the firm run by protagonist Alicia and Cary as reported by E! Online.
Executive producers of The Good Wife Robert and Michelle King are thrilled about the news, saying in a CBS press release that, "We couldn't be more excited to have Taye on the show. We've been huge fans for years, and love his ability to play comedy and drama with equal ease."
Indeed, Diggs who has starred in everything from Will and Grace to Private Practice, should fit in well with the excellent cast of the CBS show, which gained accolades for their fifth season.
The sixth season of The Good Wife starts on September 21 at 9 p.m.
