San Diego Comic-Con now comes with an annual The Walking Dead panel and this year’s included the explosive new trailer for season five. AMC also announced when the most-watched scripted show on television will be back.

The trailer reveals much more than you would expect. While it sure leaves a lot of questions hanging out there, it squashes any hope that Terminus might be a nice place to stay. Clearly, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his group do not have one ounce of luck during the zombie apocalypse.

It picks up right where season four left off. Andrew J. West is chilling as the leader of the Terminus gang and it appears like he’s going to force Rick to take them along if they still plan to reach Washington D.C.

In the trailer’s tag, we learn some new information about Beth (Emily Kinney), who was mysteriously taken from Daryl (Norman Reedus). It looks like she’s landed at some hospital and is trying to get away. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of zombie killing action in the trailer.

The Walking Dead returns on AMC on Oct. 12 at 9 p.m. The series is based on the comic books written by Robert Kirkman.
