South African Tim Clark defeated Jim Furyk by one stroke to win the RBC Canadian Open by one stroke on Sunday. Clark started the day back three shots, but had a furious comeback with five back-nine birdies to shoot a final round of 65.

Furyk, 44, led the way for most of the tournament and in dominating fashion. Entering Sunday, Furyk had just one bogey the entire tournament. After a second round 63 and third round 65 Furyk closed with a 69, including a bogey at the fourth hole. Furyk now has four top-five finishes in his last seven tournaments according to Golfweek.

Clark got back to even par after a birdie at the sixth hole and then raddled off four birdies between holes 11 and 15. Clark finished the tournament at 17-under par. Clark won his first Canadian Open and his second PGA Tour victory since the 2011 Players Championship according to Progolfnow.com.

The PGA Tour heads to Akron, Ohio, for the WGC-Bridgstone Invitational next week.
