Cosmo Kramer was a character on the hit sitcom Seinfeld (1989-1998). Played by Michael Richards, Kramer was loosely based on the comedian Kenny Kramer who used to live across the hall from Larry David. The character is a very strange man who lives across the hall from Jerry Seinfeld. Of the four main characters – George, Jerry, Kramer and Elaine – Kramer is the only one that we don’t know much about his financial support.
His trademarks consist of bursting through Jerry’s door, taking the food out of Jerry’s fridge and his upright hairstyle. He appeared in all but two episodes – The Chinese Restaurant and The Pen. He is also notoriously the only friend to Wayne Knight’s character, Newman.
If there was a perfect word to describe Kramer, it would be eccentric. With that said, and without any further ado, here are Kramer’s ten best moments throughout the nine seasons of Seinfeld.
