Back in the '90s and early 2000s, female singers were the idols of the female youth. Their faces covered our t-shirts, were plastered on our walls and were the fronts of every publication on the shelves at the local deli. Their brands became household names by becoming Barbies, creating body sprays and essentially ruled the world in our minds.
Some of these pop stars grew up and moved on from the spotlight while some had mental breakdowns and hid for a while. Some, even now in their late 30s, are still rocking it and producing new hits for us former '90s girls to jam to in the car.
