Jim Carrey will be returning to the big screen in the highly anticipated sequel to Dumb and Dumber To November 14th. Carrey will be returning to his beloved character, Lloyd Christmas but Carrey has not always been known for his comedic roles. As of late, the actor has been taking on unique and more dramatic roles.

At first, many movie fans wondered how Carrey would transition to the more dramatic role but two films helped to solidify his spot in both genres. Carrey won two Golden Globes over the course of his career including back in 1998 for his work on The Truman Show, he won his first Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama for that film. The next year Carrey took home the award once again for his portrayal of Andy Kaufman in Man on the Moon.
