One Direction is celebrating four years as a group. It was four years ago that they were all strangers competing for the same prize in The X Factor, but in the end finished as one act. The group finished in third place, but that proved to be no obstacle in the success that followed. The group has released three studio albums, Up All Night, Take Me Home and Midnight Memories.
The group has won four Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, and were named 2012's “Top New Artist” by Billboard. The group has an estimated combined wealth of $41.2 million. The release of their third album, Midnight Memories, made them the first act in the history of US Billboard 200 to have the first three albums debut at No. 1.
To celebrate these four years of One Direction's music, success and overall effect on general audiences, we are counting down their top 10 songs. From their everyday radio tunes to their lesser-played jams, this list has the best ones.

10. “Nobody Compares”
Here's one about the ever-so-typical breakups that are always so easy to relate with. This track didn't reach higher than No. 174 on the UK Charts and 79 On Canada Charts, but it made No. 10 on our list.

9. “Live While We're Young”
As far as “enjoying life” anthems go, “Live While We're Young” is a great one. This happy track landed on No. 3 on both the US and UK charts, and everywhere else in the world it was in the top 10's. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that sometimes we all want to go crazy crazy crazy. Just one crazy is not enough.

5. “Little Things”
Here's one for the sentimental softies. Those who are swoon by soft guitar strums and soft soft vocals telling us our wrinkles and our weight are loved will love this song. Emotion and simplicity make for a heartfelt ballad in “Little Things.”

2. “Moments”
Ed Sheeran wrote this one, and the One Direction boys did a great job with the recording. A sweet ballad with sweet voices and sweet lyrics, “Moments” had to be on the list.
