Tracy Morgan is currently resting at home after being released from the rehab facility he’s been in since last month, following the fatal car accident he was in just over one month ago.

“Tracy has been released from the rehabilitation center and will continue his recovery efforts at home with an aggressive outpatient program," a rep for Morgan told E! News. "He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point. He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery."

Morgan has been recovering from critical injuries involved with the car crash, which took the life of fellow comedian and friend James McNair. Morgan, McNair and an entourage were riding in a limo in New Jersey when they were hit by a Wal-Mart tractor-trailer truck.

As we previously reported, Morgan is now suing Wal-Mart for negligence. McNair’s wife, Krista Millea; Jeffrey Millea, Morgan’s assistant; and comedian Ardie Fuqua are also defendants in the lawsuit.
