Mark Wahlberg talks about his revolution as a person in a sit down interview with Norah O'Donnell. Wahlberg has gone from a troubled youth committing crimes, to becoming one of the biggest names in the film industry. The superstar actor recently spoke about his current life as a Hollywood celebrity.

"Once I got a second chance, I was never going to do anything to mess it up. And I, you know, I feel so fortunate to do what I do. It's only right that I give it my all and I respect what I do and the people that I work with... People are taking chances on me. I make sure that I deliver," Wahlberg said, according to CBS News.

O'Donnell and Wahlberg also spoke about his life as a father. He joked around saying he does not want to see his daughter date anytime soon. He knows what boys are like at a young age, so he wants to protect his daughter. Wahlberg cannot fathom the thought of his daughter being able to go on dates.

"I don't plan on ever letting my daughters date. I'm going to try to do everything I can to prevent it. You know, it just terrifies me. It just terrifies me," said Wahlberg, reported by CBS News.

His newest film project Transformers: Age of Extinction has produced in the range of $300 million worldwide in its debut weekend. That is the most money a film project has generated thus far in 2014.

Wahlberg’s makeover from a rapper into an actor can be compared to the likes of Will Smith, Ice Cube, and Queen Latifah, explained by esquire.com.
