Big Brother slipped slightly on Wednesday night in the ratings, but still topped all other fare, while Taxi Brooklyn improved slightly.
Overall the night was weak for original episodes with the Fourth of July holiday nearly upon us, but NBC managed to take the top spot among the four major networks with a 1.3 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 6.02 million viewers. Hitfix reports the network started off with a repeat of America's Got Talent before Taxi closed out the night up over last week with a 1.1 rating.
Fox followed behind closely, tying in the advertiser-important demo and averaging a much weaker 3.985 million viewers. A two-hour So You Think You Can Dance remained even for the week with a 1.3 demo rating.
CBS came in third with 1.0 rating in the 18-49 demo and 4.48 million viewers. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Big Brother stumbled from last week's premiere to a 1.8 demo rating, still easily dominating all other original episodes.
With a 0.8 rating and 3.08 million viewers, ABC came in dead last after opting to air all repeats on the night. The CW averaged a 0.2 rating and 815,000 viewers following in ABC's footsteps.
