The Bachelorette closed out down 27 percent in the ratings Monday night from last year's finale, while Under the Dome halted the slight downward slide.
ABC topped the major four networks with a 2.0 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 7.66 million viewers. The Bachelorette was down from last year by a wide margin, but managed a slight improvement over last week, but a 1.9 rating in the demo was enough to set a season high, HitFix reports. After the Final Rose managed to tie in the demo for the top show with a 2.1 rating.
NBC came in second with 5.37 million viewers and a 1.8 rating in the demo, tying with Fox. The new Bear Grylls' series Running Wild with Bear Grylls debuted and pulled in a 1.4 rating and American Ninja Warrior improved on the night to a 2.1 rating.
In third place due to a weaker overall audience of 4.825 million viewers was Fox. According to The Hollywood Reporter, MasterChef was consistent from last week with a 2.0 rating in the advertiser-important demo, while Hotel Hell followed steady with a 1.5 demo rating.
CBS brought up the rear with a 1.1 rating in the 18-49 demo and 5.02 million viewers. Under the Dome held steady for the night with a 1.5 demo rating, halting last week's demo dip.
The CW and the Young Hollywood Awards special earned a 0.3 rating in the demo and 783,000 viewers.
