What better way to end a series as beloved as Two and a Half Men than with a wedding?

Earlier, we reported that CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler had shared that the show would feature a gay wedding in its final season. Now ABC News has shared more details about the plot. Tassler shared at the Television Critics Association press tour that Walden, played by Ashton Kutcher, will have a health scare that will send him into a crisis and cause him to want to adopt a child. Walden will find it difficult as a single straight man to adopt so he will decide that he and Alan, played by John Cryer, should marry and adopt a child as a gay couple.

ABC News also reports that Tassler also addressed questions about whether or not former cast member Charlie Sheen would be returning to bid the show goodbye. “Not at this time. No,” Tassler said. Sheen, who left the series in 2011 was reported to have tried to make amends with show creator Chuck Lorre, whom he spoke badly of after his departure according to ABC News.
