ABC News announced some major behind-the-scenes changes for its two flagship programs, Good Morning America and its nightly news broadcast, ABC World News. The network announced a shuffling of the producers that work on the show.

In a statement on its blog, the organization announced that Michael Corn and Almin Karamehmedovic will have new roles.

Corn is going back to GMA as the new senior executive producer. He will be replacing Tom Cibrowski, who is becoming the new SVP, ABC News Programs, News Gathering and Special Events. Corn previously worked on GMA for eight years before his current stint at World News.

With Corn moving back to morning television, Karamehmedovic will take over as the new executive producer of World News. He joined ABC News 16 years ago and has covered wars across the world during that time. He has even taken home eight Emmys. Karamehmedovic also worked on Nightline.

This is the latest change for ABC News. Back in June, it was announced that Diane Sawyer would be leaving World News, with David Muir taking over.

Muir, who will remain co-host of the newsmagazine 20/20, will take over on Sept. 2.
